Red lips i know.

This will probably be the last post I write before I go to Uni sad but also very wise lots to get sorted before I start next Monday, not to mention the project they set at the start that I'm still working on which is driving me insane! But anyway the six weeks holiday is over most things are back to normal everyone in my house is back at work now so I'm in my usual spot blogging this morning with a cup of tea.

So on to my outfit I'm not really sure why but I felt very French whilst styling it so I kind of played on that idea a little with this dress. I wanted it to look very French tourist-esque.
I have to share the funny story about the dress, well which I found very funny...
I couldn't actually decide on the dress in the shop so I carried it around with me so I could find a mirror and see when it looked like (I'm lazy when it comes to changing rooms) so anyway next minute I find myself in the queue adding up what I've brought; my mums with me so we put all I stuff together and work out the right amount. Then just as the woman is coming to the last item I go 'oh hang on my dress', my dress that was still hanging on my arm like it had become a part of me or something the woman did look at me strangely.

The bowler hat too for anyone that follows me knows I tweeted last week about making a change about myself at university I don't know why the wildest thing I can come up with is this but I'd love to be known as the girl who always wears a bowler hat or something along them lines I really envy people who can pull them off so well and effortlessly with their outfit so if this happens I shall let you know.
This hat too is one I made i posted about it a while ago if you remember but well I didn't like it so i adapted it a bit to one you can find similar in H&M. Why buy something when you can make it hey?!

Also my shoes are a pair I've been lusting over for a while well I mean flatforms in general I picked these up in New Look in their sale for just £8 because they were just their on the shelf in my size obviously i declared them mine and fate! Until my mum said oh they have another size round here, 'no mum you've burst my bubble now'! So I carried on with my story and brought them.

One last thing I used 'Perks Of Being A Wallflower' for these photos which I recommend to everyone it is possibly my favourite book! But I read it a while ago so its merely used as a prop haha.
Anyway that is all from me I'm going to make some grumbly sounds now as I get to work on my University Project and maybe actually get it completed today!
Oh and next time I post I'm still not sure yet but I might have a new haircut, I want it cut short like Alexa Chung like I said though I'm still not sure so you'll have to wait and see!
I hope everyone is well and I will post soon, until then take care!

  10. GOOD LUCK AT UNI LOVELY! I hope you have a fab time. I'm sure you will become known for something most unlikely - that's what happened to me anyway haha. Those shoes are so lovely and funnily enough I was thinking it looked a bit french before I'd even written you'd read that. Maybe the combination of monochrome!
