How I wear: My very own jacket

Whilst studying fashion at university I want to share what I make and get up to whilst I'm there for you all to get to know a bit more about me and what it is I do as well as for my own recording, for me to look back on.
I wanted to share this, because I am very proud of it, I made it before Christmas so I could I relax over that time and it definitely paid off.

We made it from a jacket pattern and sort of altered it according to our personal tastes. I chose this beautiful wool fabric (I'm a little bit obsessed with patterns like this at the moment, dog tooth, herringbone that sort of thing)
Once made you can manipulate it to wear how you feel it looks better, it does up with a zip but I chose to show it in this way because it's probably as I'd choose to wear it, I love the blanket wrap, cape trend and I feel like its perfect for that throwing it over an outfit for comfort and warmth.

Since receiving these boots for Christmas I don't even think they've been off my feet (expect to sleep of course) they are just the perfect combination of height and chunkyness. They make me much taller which is a massive plus, I think I'm damn right in love with them.

Anyway that's all from me for now, let me know what you think of it. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
And just before I finish up one last thing I wanted to put an idea across to all my readers and bloggers.
I've been thinking about doing a section on my blog for a while which will include essays/stories about things in my life be it a rant or just sharing an opinion some personal some just random words. I don't want it to just be about me though.
This year I want to engage with bloggers and I know some of you love to write.
I'd like people to guest post sharing their stories, views, opinions maybe once a week or once a month depending on how well this gets going + on that note I could roll with the idea of people showing their photography.
Lets say it'll be a bit of girl power, this page gives you all a voice.
Its still a rough idea but i'd love if anyone could give an input
drop me an email at gingerrpaige@googlemail.com
(send me any writing or anything content aware)

Until next time take care beauties!
