Do I wanna know?

Its took me ages to do this post! I came back from my driving lesson at 11 this morning agh! (I did stop to do a bit of dancing though)

Anywayyy I've been excited about this post for a while and I figured it was good timing as tonight its the last ever episode of skins which is so sad! I think its going to go out with a bang, I hope!

I've loved skins since day one, so you can imagine my excitement when my local boutique GladRags

 started selling skins t shirts I have to admit I faced a dilemma though as they sell one with Cook on, on his own and others with Pandora and Effy on. 

I did say 'I WANT them all' but decided to be good and buy the one with Effy on.

 Effy's probably one of my favourite characters; so ballsy yet beautiful and mysterious.

And above all nobody breaks her heart.

By the way sorry for being so photo heavy in advance there's a DIY ahead!

I paired this top with a pair of jeans I DIYed. I am in love with fringing this season as I mentioned in one of my recent posts and I've had a pair of black jeans sitting around for a while not being worn and as the weather was (at the time of making these) still warm weather i needed a new addiction to my wardrobe. Its pretty straight forward. First I cut a pair of jeans, using another pair of shorts is a good idea as long as you line them up and don't cut the other pair shorter!

Then with the left over fabric start cutting the fabric into strips but leave about a 1-2cm gap along the top.

 

Then pin the fringing onto the side of the shorts and sow it in place.

And that's it done! I love them because they're quite bad-girlish which is mostly the opposite of me haha!
